Ensuring Technology was named a Shenzhen Seed Unicorn Enterprise at the 2026 China (Shenzhen) Unicorn Enterprise Conference, held in Nanshan District on July 16. The selection recognizes the company's tactile sensing research and growth as it develops infrastructure for embodied AI.
Joining Shenzhen's emerging technology companies
The Seed Unicorn designation is part of Shenzhen's staged support framework for growing technology businesses. It is an entry point into a development pathway that also includes Potential Unicorn and Unicorn enterprises.
The assessment is guided by Shenzhen's industry and information technology authorities and its SME service bureau, with evaluation by the city's gazelle and unicorn enterprise committee.
According to the Shenzhen Gazelle and Unicorn Enterprise Report 2026, Shenzhen has 47 unicorn enterprises with a combined valuation approaching RMB 1.2 trillion, ranking third among Chinese cities. Its 143 seed unicorns have a combined valuation of RMB 64.3 billion and span key technology sectors.
The designation recognizes Ensuring's innovation and development potential. Participation in the program can provide access to policy support, industry application opportunities and investment connections as the company grows.

Building tactile infrastructure for embodied AI
Ensuring focuses on tactile infrastructure that supports fine robotic manipulation and physical human–robot interaction. Its development combines hardware, data and algorithms rather than treating tactile sensing as an isolated component.
The company develops spatially encoded tactile sensing, tactile signal interpretation and deployment architectures. Its sensor manufacturing work draws on semiconductor processes, with the aim of balancing precision, ease of integration and cost for robots and dexterous hands.
Turning recognition into practical progress
Ensuring will continue to develop tactile sensing, data collection and supporting technologies for robotics. Its focus remains on performance, quality and cost as embodied AI moves toward practical deployment.
The company plans to deepen its role in Shenzhen's technology ecosystem and expand its international work, connecting tactile sensing research with manufacturing and real applications.
